Believe – Creer

We Need To Believe in God.  That is why this time of Advent, a time of preparation in joy, in prayer and in contemplation, is how God comes into our darkness and transforms us with his light. As he comes into our human life and enriches it with his divine presence, as he speaks to us in the language of love, of life, of a child who is born to help us understand that we must believe in his greatness, in the fulfillment of his promises and in the reality of his love that is manifested in the presence of his Son.

Because we all need it, we are invited to believe in Jesus who is born in a manger, who wants to live in our hearts, who becomes present in the Sacraments of the Church and who will come at the end of time clothed in glory and splendor. Because we need to get out of our darkness.

Let us ask Him that we may believe in Him and that by trusting in His mercy we can help illuminate the world with faith and hope.

Nos hace falta creer en Dios.  Por eso es este tiempo del Adviento, un tiempo de preparación en la alegría, en la oración y en la contemplación como Dios viene a nuestra oscuridad y nos transforma con su luz. Como viene a nuestra vida humana y la enriquece con su presencia divina, como el nos habla en el lenguaje del amor, de la vida, de un niño que nace, para ayudarnos a entender que debemos creer en su grandeza, en el cumplimiento de sus promesas y en la realidad de su amor que se manifiesta en la presencia de su Hijo.

Nos hace falta creer en Dios por ser sus hijos, en lo mejor que podemos ser, en  lo  que  podemos  cambiar  y  en  lo  que  podemos  enseñar  a  las  futuras generaciones. Nos hace falta creer en Dios, quien de verdad nos salva, produce verdadera felicidad, alimenta para la eternidad, y le da sentido a esta jornada de fe que vivimos en este tiempo.

Pidámosle que podamos creer en Él y que confiando en su misericordia podamos ayudar a iluminar el mundo con fe y esperanza.
